Okay folks… here’s the video & discussion from BattleCry this past week. I’m sorry it’s WAY late, but we had Eason’s birthday & Jenny & mine’s 5th year anniversary. So, my sincerest apologies…
We looked at Revelation 3:15-17 (“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.”)

So here are my questions: Why do we put so much into ‘playing the part’ and completely skipping the sold out for Christ part of salvation? Why do we think it’s okay to only ‘ALMOST’ live out our faith? We think we can walk the walk up to the point of completely & total commitment & then just slack off. We think we can serve Christ according to what is most comfortable for us, according to what is ‘easy’, according to what we want to do… but we seem to stop short of fulfilling the complete call that Christ has placed on us.
Tell me what you think about this… Scripture passage, video, etc.
Thanks, & God Bless!
